Jim Graham

Jim has had a close involvement  with theatre for many years, both as a director and writer.  He has directed many musicals in both Armidale and Tamworth and is well known for his productions at the University of New England and at The Armidale School where he taught for many years.  He wrote a 'fruity melodrama' every year for  the Queen Victoria Music Hall which he established and ran with great success for 25 years. He conceived and developed the idea of adapting Ethel Turner's Seven Little Australians into a musical — successfully taken up later by other interests.  He has also written The Clown Who Lost His Smile, a musical about growing up.

Ginger Meggs and the Missing Link, originally written by Jim for a large cast of school children, was re-written by him for the New England Theatre Company for  a small cast.
